WELCOME TO MY BLOG

With 6 years of experience in wedding photography, I am
privileged to have witnessed and captured a myriad of sincere emotions and
merriments as they unfold during one of the greatest events in our lives,
weddings. Fusing wedding photojournalism and modern style, I offer pure moments
and unconventional portraits.

Being artistic since the early stages of my life but having
difficulty with freehand realistic renditions, I turned myself to photography
and graphic arts. Experimenting and exploring, I strive to be better than my last
shoot. I take it as “you’re only as good as your last picture”.

I am passionate about my craft. Some might see weddings as a
routine-always the same things happening each time. I remember someone asking;
don’t you get bored shooting weddings? I don’t. Each one is unique and special,
and it only happens once in a lifetime.

This blog hopes to share those moments and some non-wedding
related shoots and whatnots once in a while. I may have a few words to share
but let the photos speak to you themselves.

I am Erron Ocampo, and I’m a Modern Photojournalistic
Wedding Photographer.

ERVIN & CLARA family affair

Wedding number 1 in our family this year. My brother, Kuya Ervin and Clara have been together since high school, 11 years after, they finally tied the knot. It was a beautiful day for our families.

It really was a different experience for me shooting my own brother’s wedding. There was this time that I was shooting Clara’s portraits and I had to run to Kuya Ervin’s room for our family portrait. And I  was also a groomsman. So after walking down the aisle I had to run back out of the church to shoot Clara getting off the bridal car. Talk about multi-tasking!

Jesy did Clara’s makeup and Raymond did the hair. Special thanks to Cecilio Abad for Clara’s beautiful dress and Kuya Ervin’s suit and for accommodating them on such short notice and to Marcy and Cathy for dressing them up. To Jong, and the Wang Videography boys, Jigs, Jake & Gilbert, and Cristal  for the video and SDE. Joel for shooting with me. To Jay for the help in booking the hotel and the escorts. K. by Cunanan Catering, the food was amazing! Marj Dizon, for the impromptu hosting and livening up the reception program.

Congrats Kuya Ervin and Clara!
