Meet Bubu, our baby pug whom Steve gave to us last March. He was just 3 months then and I can still remember how small he was. We were so proud bringing him around Eastwood and Tiendesitas, thinking the reason why he was that small was because he was just a pup. But when I brought him to the clinic of Doc Cris, who was referred to me by one of my brides, Bonnie, and seeing her pugs who are just a week older than Bubu, I realized that our baby was way too small for his age. So I made it a point to plump him up.
We fed him with the same food that Doc Cris feeds her pugs, Science Diet, and even bought him vitamins. Well, there was no difficulty in feeding him coz pugs are naturally PG (patay gutom) and would eat anything they think is edible. So then he started gaining weight, fast. His heaviest was at 10kg, take note kilograms not pounds! There was even a point that when Doc Cris checked on the charts if Bubu was overweight, he was! But it was ok because Bubu has a tall built and he doesn’t even looked obese.
So we frequented the vet for Bubu’s shots and check ups, thanks to Doc Jenn who takes care of Bubu everytime we go there.
Here’s a few pix of Bubu last June.![]()

Bubu always looks sad coz of his folded facial skin, but he looks real happy here.

Such a natural!

Who could resist those puppy dog eyes, huh?
